Redemption not Wrath

Redemption not Wrath
By Arley Steinhour 102316
Sukkot, now, is over, the Sun has Set,
God's Feast days, are all completed,
Except, the Holiday, Shmini Atzeret,
The Holiday, I address as needed.
Shmini Atzeret, Holy Day after Sukkot,
Almost a Feast, but treated like a 'Goat,'
Attaching, yet Separate, but still 'Afloat,'
A Holy Day, worthy of man taking 'Note.'
The Harvests, are over, Spring, crop Planted,
Lambs in the Cote, for a Winter, as Protected,
From Carnivore, and Thieves, outside the Gate,
As, Herdsmen keep Watch, over Master's Estate.
Shmini Atzeret, is like: 'Thank God, it's Over,'
Slept in Sukkah, Seven nights, except Drover,
Harvest is in, through Hard-Times, and 'Clover,'
Winter-time, now, until celebrating, Passover.
Start reading the TORAH, throughout the Year,
So, each year it's covered, and, we don't Fear,
A life, without God, being, Ever-so-Near,
That, we are unable, to 'Pray, in His Ear.'
This Holiday, is Respite, breaking the Redundant,
Ending a Study, to start brand-new, Not Repugnant,
This day closes time, where, man Renews Faith,
But, Messiah, was Crucified, for Redemption, not Wraith.
This day, closes the Study, that would restart the Study,
If Messiah, Jesus, hadn't Paid the Price, to clear 'Muddy,'
We, who Believe, In Emanuel's translated Name,
Aren't under the 'Law;' We're Above, Sin-Shame.
AMEN
