Train on Track

Train on Track
By Arley Steinhour 082715
Clikety-Clack Jesus puts us on track,
To arrive at his Heavenly Home,
Keeping in mind the smoke of the stack,
We are Justified, and never should roam.
We walk through 'Justified' life,
Much like train upon the track,
Interrupted by many a, 'sideline, or strife,'
Where our wheels don't 'clickety-clack.'
Through prayer, we'll excel,
As you hear our plea,
Our fears, you quell,
Back on track, as you decree.
We stumble, and, sometimes fall,
Then, you catch us back on track,
So long as we pray, and hear your call,
Your soft, sweet, voice, 'Come Back.'
Then, there's times you put us on sideline,
We feel, you're punishing, or abandoning, us,
Only to find that we had missed a sign,
That would keep us as your special genus.
Until, we're Home, and Certified,
Throughout mortal life, we fail,
To walk the path as you personified,
As we stumble through, in strong Travail.
Please bless us all, each day of life,
As we learn wisdom, in your Stay,
May 'Church,' be called, your faithful Wife,
When you come, to Snatch us away.
Without your Payment of our Sin-Debt,
Satan would win every soul,
Even the Justified, sometimes forget,
Our Reward, can be Gold, or Coal.
AMEN
