County to set hearing for subdivision

Friday, December 20, 2024

The Red Willow County Board of Commissioners and the Board of Equalization will hold their regular meetings on Monday, Dec. 23, beginning at 9 a.m. at the county courthouse.

The agenda includes time for citizens’ comments, although no action can be taken on those items, as well as reviews of accounts payable and payroll claims.

Treasurer Crystal Dack will present motor vehicle exemption requests during the Board of Equalization meeting.

When the Board of Commissioners reconvenes, members will set a public hearing date for Jan. 13 to discuss the Holliday Subdivision, South of Perry Grain, and McCook Concrete Sand & Gravel dredging operations. Sheriff Kevin Darling will address an interlocal agreement for law enforcement with the City of McCook.

The consent agenda includes the approval of meeting minutes, contract renewals, and reappointments to county boards, among other items. A resolution to correct a duplicate fund transfer and a request to delay an oversized load move are also on the docket.

Reports, including the Clerk’s Monthly Revenue Report, will be presented. The board reserves the right to enter executive session if necessary.
