Reservations being taken for Marine Birthday Party

The United States Marine Corps will be celebrating their 249th birthday on November 10, 2024. As many readers may know, our Continental Congress established the Marine Corps as a new branch of the military on November 10, 1775. Therefore, local Marines, spouses and friends will be celebrating the birthday of our beloved Corps.

The festivities will be held at the Eagles Club in McCook, beginning with social hour at 5:30 p.m, with sit-down dinner, and the ceremonial Marine Corps cake cutting to follow. Cost is $16.00 per person and reservations are required for head count with a deadline of November 6th. Reservations can be made by calling the Eagles Club at 308-345-6216. We hope to see many of our “Jarheads” in attendance.
