Commissioners working to finalize annual budged Monday
McCOOK, Neb. — Red Willow County Commissioners will meet with their accountant Monday as the time to finalize the annual county budget draws near.
CPA Dan Miller is on the agenda for 9:30 a.m. Monday in the commissioners’ room on the third floor of the Red Willow County Courthouse.
Called to order at 9 a.m., the meeting will later include approval of inventories and a decision on which auction service will be contracted to sell surplus items from the Household Hazardous Waste program.
Other routine items include a law enforcement agreement with Bartley, an interlock agreement with Furnas County for Veterans’ Service Officer services and interlocal agreements for law enforcement with Frontier, Hitchcock, Furnas and Dundy counties.
Resolutions allocating final levy and tax dollars for subdivisions to the county levy will also be considered.
Miller & Associates has submitted correspondence regarding completed paperwork for one- and six-year road projects and a disaster declaration with FEMA.
