Dad tops son in annual Red Willow County Demo Derby
McCook’s Reid Steinbeck (66, above) appears to be putting the dents in dad Larry Steinbeck’s hit machine during the annual Red Willow County Fair Demoltion Derby Thursday evening.
However, age and experience proved better than youthful attacks once again as Larry Steinbeck took first in the Limited Weld demo division. Bison alum Reid Steinbeck settled for second place.
Trent Mattson and his 2M car (second photo) created plenty of wreckage during the Red Willow County Fair Demoliltion Derby Thursday night. Mattson’s auto dominated just like Nebraska Cornhusker football teams during the 90s because he took home a 90s and Newer Demo Derby championship.
Tucker Ebert (third photo down) was one of the younger competitors in the Red Willow County Fair Demolition Derby Thursday evening. Ebert took his best shot at winning Junior Class honors. The Red Willow County Fair continues with many events and activities foday through Sunday.
