KANORADO, Kan. - Longtime Kanorado, Kan. resident, Donald Wayne Daub III, 43, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023 at his home in Kanorado.

Don was born Aug. 19, 1980 in Boulder, Colo. to Donald Wayne and Carolyn Sue (Kleibieker) Daub Jr. He was one of three children. He lived in McCook, Neb. where he attended school. He later met and married Delores Sportsman on Feb. 29, 2020. They had two children; Adonica Daub and Donald Daub IV.

Don worked as a truck driver for Nutrien Ag in Goodland, Kan. for many years. He was also on the Kanorado Volunteer Fire Department for 16 years and took pride in his jobs. He was very active in his community, he was a Jack-of-all-trades. He could be very stubborn and ornery; however, he always strived to see the best in everyone. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting. He was very family-oriented and lived for his family and friends and enjoyed spending the weekends having a BBQ.

He was proceeded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his uncle William L. Krausman.

He is survived by his wife Delores and children Adonica and Donald of the home in Kanorado, his parents Donald Daub Jr. and Carolyn Kleiboeker of McCook, his sister Sarah (Tim McMains) Daub of North Platte Neb. and his brother Kenneth (Racheal) Daub of McCook, NE.

A celebration of life will be held on August 19, 2024 starting at 11 a.m. going throughout the day at his home, 106 Main St, Kanorado Kan.
