Southern Valley girls capture Class D 'Cup' for 2023-24

LINCOLN, Neb. — Southern Valley has won the Class D Girls Division 2023-24 “Buckle Up Phone Down Cup” from Nebraska School Activities Association officials.

Awards are presented to the 12 Nebraska high schools that earn the most points during the school year by participating in NSAA education-based activity programs. This all-activities (fine arts and sports), all-school recognition platform recognizes the “Best of the Best” each year.

The Eagles’ year included a historic Class D-1 girls state basketball final along with three track-field titles for senior Ann Bose and junior Adi Hunt.
