McCOOK, Neb. — McCook’s First Central Bank Juniors finished a super weekend sweep with Sunday’s 7-5 comeback win over Broken Bow.

The Juniors (6-3 record) trailed 5-0 but plated all seven runs during their fourth inning.

Cole Block walked to start the rally before Kooper Rakes, Brody Anthony and Kale Sattler also reached base safely.

Aiden Lauer’s sacrifice was another huge play that really ignited the seven-run FCB rally.

Bo Schlegel, Ty Junker and Asher Wilson then became three more McCook baserunners. Most reached on walks or being hit by a pitch.

Jamie Samaniego contriubuted a key basehit and he would become one of the few FCB baserunners who did not cross home plate.

Though Samaniego was forced out, the other seven runners scored to forge a 7-5 advantage.

The FCB Juniors delivered a big win over Overton on Saturday. No details were obtained.
