'Pretty Fire' program Monday

McCOOK, Neb. – McCook’s Fox Theatre will be hosting a one-woman production of Crane River Theater Company’s “Pretty Fire” by Charlayne Woodard on Monday, April 29 at 1:30 p.m.
This award-winning play is told through the eyes of a child during the civil rights movement, with stories of overcoming life’s challenges. Admission is free.
The 90-minute production tackles the issues of diversity and inclusion through storytelling. The New York Times described it as “one of the most positive pictures of the black American experience”.
The production is made possible through funding by Nebraska Arts Council, Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and Humanities Nebraska.
