Local authors set for Buffalo Commons First Tuesday
McCOOK, Neb. — National Library Week is early in April. With that in mind the Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival Planning committee will feature local authors at their First Tuesday event April 2 from 7 – 8 pm at the Bieroc Café.
Christian romance author and self-proclaimed coffee addict, pickleball enthusiast, storyteller and friend, Jennifer Rodewald, will be the featured speaker and explain how she came to write and be published. Also expected to present are local jeweler and author of a short story collection, Bill Longnecker, and members of the McCook High School creative writing club. Anyone with a flair for the written word is invited to come to briefly share their own story about the writing process and results.
Whether you read on a Kindle or prefer the weight of an actual book in your hand – all are encouraged to attend. If you prefer audio books and just listening you are welcome as well.
