McCOOK Neb. - Julie Cuellar, a mother of three boys, has brought back the highly anticipated Every {little} Thing Kids’ Pop-Up Consignment Sale for its spring edition, offering a blend of community spirit, convenience, and budget-friendly shopping opportunities for families in the area.

Cuellar had low expectations for the first sale but was pleasantly surprised by the results. “I think nine sellers registered for the fall; on average, they each made about $200, and everybody that came through had great things to say about it.”

Utilizing specialized consignment software, participants can quickly register on the website, set their prices and descriptions, and print tags for their items. On drop-off day, sellers will place their items in designated sections on the sales floor, organized like a retail store, for a seamless shopping experience. Cuellar ensures that sellers’ items are displayed effectively, making it convenient for shoppers to browse and purchase quality products. Inspired by a similar sale in Indiana, Cuellar aims to create a thriving consignment market in McCook.

There is a minimum requirement of 30 items to sign up as a seller, a modest registration fee, and a competitive profit-sharing model. Every {little} Thing offers a lucrative opportunity for families to earn extra income and shop affordably. The sale boasts a diverse range of over 600 items, including clothing, accessories, and more, presenting a perfect chance for sellers to clean out their closets and for buyers to discover hidden gems at discounted prices. Cuellar encourages sellers to price their items competitively and emphasizes ensuring product safety by checking for recalls before selling.

Every {little} Thing Kids’ Pop-Up Consignment pre-sale(tickets required) will be Thursday, March 14, from 2-6 p.m. The public sale is Friday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Barn at 1701 North Hwy 83 in McCook. This event promises a fun and rewarding shopping experience and an opportunity for the community to unite to support sustainable practices and cost-effective shopping solutions.
