McCCOOK, Neb. — With a bill to phase out inheritance tax still on general file in the Legislature, Red Willow County Commissioners are poised to use $100,000 of that money for health insurance for county employees.

That transfer is on the consent agenda for Monday’s meeting of the county board.

Other items include a hearing and decision on real and personal property tax exemptions at 9:15 a.m., opening of bids for crack sealing at 9:30 a.m., an annual report on Nebraska Extension by Teresa Thomas at 9:45 a.m., updates to the comprehensive county zoning plan at 10 a.m., and Fairboard Manager Jiles Bowman at 10:15 a.m. regarding the purchase of gravel.

Other items on the consent agenda include an agreement with the Family Resources Center and a sales agreement with NMC for a backhoe.
