Republican candidates' forum set for March 17

McCOOK, Neb. — A multi-county candidate’s forum for all local, state, and federal Republican candidates will begin with a meet-and-greet at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17 at Bedore Barn/Marlene’s Kitchen, 38404 Road 719 in McCook.

Candidates will address the group beginning at 2:30 pm. All three of our federal representatives are up for re-election this year and have been invited. Sen. Deb Fischer is running unopposed on the Republican ticket and a representative from her campaign has confirmed the date. 

John Glenn Weaver, opposing U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts and John Walz, opposing U.S. Rep. Adrian Smith have confirmed the date.
