Chamber plans summer bash

McCOOK Neb. — Planning took center stage at the recent Chamber Board meeting, focusing on the upcoming event Bash on the Hills in June.

Director of the McCook Chamber, Sarah Schneider shared that the event will be bigger than ever as they will be collaborating with Prairie Plains CASA’s (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Corporate Games, Community Hospital celebrating their 50th Anniversary, MCFF (McCook Community Foundation Fund) Third Thursday event and Wagner’s Cruisin’ the Bricks car show and mcCOOK Off BBQ competition.

Event attendees will enjoy a plate of beef tips and brisket from the competition (hot dogs for the kid meals) and side dishes followed by entertainment.

Local favorite, Strings Attached’ will open for Paramount, an 80’s tribute band known for their high-energy, fast-paced concerts with a light show. Tickets for meal and entertainment will be on sale starting March 1, 2024.
