LEBANON Tenn. - Lisa Gartner passed away on Jan. 12, 2024 at age 57. The Celebration of Life is Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations in her name to St. Jude and/or New Leash on Life.

Lisa Marie Brooks Gartner was born in McCook, Neb. to Roberta Jean Schamel and Gerald Brooks. She graduated from Hastings College in Nebraska. She worked as a Registered Nurse for more than 35 years. Lisa loved being a cheerleader for her children’s sports and she never missed a game when they were growing up. She was an animal lover and over the years had many special pets. She enjoyed shopping, especially on Amazon, travelling, and she would go out of her way to make sure she had a McDonalds Diet Coke.

Lisa is survived by her husband Doug Gartner; children: Morgan and Jack Gartner; siblings: Mike (Kim) Brooks, Patti (Dave Hamling) Brooks, Mark (Darlene) Brooks, and Mick (Scott) Minnick; many beloved nieces and nephews; her grandchild: Max; and special pets Jet, Crazy Bugs, Lincoln, Milo, and Kali. She is preceded in death by parents Roberta and Gerald Brooks, sister Denise Brooks, mother-in-law Barbara Gartner; and pets Dexter, Scout, Chance, Tex, Lucky, Gidget, Max, Prissy, and Husker.
