Tax protest, tractor rental on county agenda

McCOOK, Neb. — Clarification of a property tax protest result and a tractor rental for the county fair are among items on the agenda for Monday’s meeting of the Red Willow County Commissioners.

Deputy Assessor Lori Stevens will speak to the board at 9:15 a.m. regarding the Van Diest protest result, and Fair Manager Jiles Bowman will speak with the commissioners regarding the tractor rental at 9:30 a.m.

The consent agenda includes allocating final levy and tax dollars to various subdivisions, a county roadway occupancy agreement for for Cambridge Telephone, and fairground items to be declared surplus.
