Volleyball Jamboree time at McCook High on Monday
McCOOK, Neb. — Volleyball season will get its final warm-ups when McCook Bison host their annual Jamboree Monday evening.
Hitchcock County and Dundy County-Stratton will again provide the competition during this 7 p.m. triangular.

Senior Kory Rippen returns after plastering 202 kills aross many volleyball courts besides McCook High last fall.
Setters Bailee Fawver and Bailee Foster also return as top liberos after teaming for 420 digs a year ago.
Junior Fawver’s 286 digs topped the Bison while freshman Foster made 144.
Junior Ashlyn Randel delivered another 181 besides serving 15 aces.
Those are the key returning experienced varsity players from Hoins’ first Bison team in 2022.
Many more will be seen at the Jamboree on Monday leading into this 2023 season.
Hitchcock and DC-S will feature their own solid nucleus of players who earned varsity time last fall. They’ll likely be in the Fall Sports section appearing next week.
