McCOOK, Neb. - Thomas, one of triplets, was born in Wheatridge, Colo. to Robert Grimm and Tabitah Fugate. Tommy was a kind and gentle person who enjoyed playing and looking after his siblings, cousins, and friends. He also enjoyed the outdoors and especially hiking in the mountains of Colorado.

Tommy died tragically and suddenly at his home south of McCook due to cardiac arrest as a result of Addison’s Disease. Coincidentally, his brother Robert Jr. “Robby” also has Addison’s Disease.

Those left to mourn his loss are his father Robert Grimm of North Platte, Neb.; mother Tabitah Fugate of McCook; brothers Robert Jr. of McCook and Jon of North Platte; sister Christina “Tina” Cordova of McCook; maternal grandmother Charlotte Beckert of McCook; paternal grandfather David Grimm Sr. of Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. family and friends will gather at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #2769, 805 East B Street, McCook for his celebration of life. The family is requesting memorials be payable to the McCook Eagles Aerie #2769 and mailed or dropped off during business hours. All proceeds will assist with service expenses for Tommy.

The family will travel to Colorado at a later date for Tommy’s last hike in the mountains where he was happy and at peace.
