MNB Seniors sweep Saturday games with Colby

McCOOK, Neb. — Gabe Roberts pitched a complete-game win and Quentin Terry's bases-clearing hit decided game two in the McCook National Bank Seniors' home sweep of Colby, Kan., Saturday evening.
MNB evened its season record at 8-8 with the 7-3, 9-7 sweep at McCook's Jaycees Complex.
Roberts needed only 89 pitches during his seven innings, allowing one earned run on six hits and striking out one.

Coleton Lentz doubled during his three-for-three hitting effort and scored two runs.
Brody Graham delivered two RBIs while Miles Pullman's two hits moved his batting average above .300.
Terry, Lentz and Pullman have become the Seniors' three leading hitters.
MNB outhit Colby overall, 11-6 as Bryson Gullion, Lincoln Michaelis and Tristan Campbell were others who ripped base hits.
Game two featured more drama as the Colby Sluggers built a 7-4 lead.
Yet MNB unleashed a five-run sixth inning that finished the Saturday sweep.
Terry totaled three hits, three RBIs and scored one run.
Pollmann drove home a run to go with runs scored from Campbell, Gullion, Lentz, Graham, Pullman and Carter Larson.
Trenton Raile pitched the first four innings before Gullion relieved and earned this win. He allowed one hit, one run and struck out two in his two innings.
