West boys unleash big win during CSO All-Star Games

CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — Trailing 50-47 at halftime, the West All-Stars suddenly exploded for 31 third-quarter points en route to a 108-86 win over East in Friday’s CSO All-Star boys contest.
McCook sharpshooter Evan Humphrey hit not once, not twice, but three times from beyond the arc to ignite that decisive third period.
North Platte St. Patrick’s Andrew Brosius then buried three more fourth-quarter bombswhich clinched this big West win.

The West drilled 14 three-pointers overall with Bison grad Adam Dugger making two of his own.
Humphrey (12 points) and Dugger (11) were among the six West players who reached double figures during this 40-minute contest.
Maywood Hayes-Center dyanmic leaper Hayden Kramer connected for 23 to lead all scorers.
Brosius was West MVP with Lexington’s Dru Truax named top player for the East.
