Younger Bison golfers play in Great Nebraska

McCook’s JV golfers shot 380 as a team while competing in the Great Nebraska tournament on Monday.

Varsity player Colton Koetter led the Bison with a solid round of 89 while freshman Trenton Raile followed closely at 92 and Trevor Nokes shot 93.

Cason Waugh and Jelen Collicott both totaled 106s for the next Bison rounds.

Scottsbluff’s 320 won the tournament, just two strokes ahead of North Platte Blue at 322.

Gering and North Platte Gold both followed with 354.

Hastings shot 395 to finish 15 strokes behind the young Bison squad.
