McCook boys swing to top four at golf tourney
HASTINGS, Neb.— Information from McCook coach Ben Vetrovsky about Thursday’s varsity golf action:
“The Bison vasity golf team placed fourth yesterday at the Hastings Invite.
Landon Kmoch led the Bison with an 83 to place 11th.
Cole Graham shot 86 to place in the top 15 as well. Reid Loop shot an 89, Eli Kehler 95, Ryland Peters 105.
“The wind made conditions extremely tough. Really proud of Landon and Cole finishing in the top 15. They are playing some consistent golf as of late. We are going to keep working hard to improve some of the fine details of the game.”
Bison JV competed in Curtis yesterday. Bison finish 5th out of 14 team. Kolton Koetter led the Bison with a 90. Ben Junker shot a 96, Jalen Collicott 109, Aaron Frank 110, and Caleb Shaw 111.
The Bison play their annual boys’ home invitational on Tuesday at Heritage Hills.
