Let us know how to help your business
Friday, March 3, 2023
The thing about this column is that it allows me to recount my previous month and share what has been on the hearts and minds of the Chamber and our staff. Even though February is the shortest month, I feel like it has been the longest month as we have been so busy having member conversations.
As I mentioned last month, it is incredibly important that I get out to our member businesses to chat about all the things we are doing correctly, but also hear about ways we could improve or better support your businesses.
With that, I have learned that tangible benefits have and continue to be a factor in many of your budgets. How can you justify giving a substantial amount of money to the McCook Chamber of Commerce if you aren’t sure you will see a return on your investment? Well, I can’t make any promises, but I want to assure you that as we move forward as an organization, we are constantly revisiting our time investment to ensure that what we give back is worth what your business puts forward.
When I first started, I had a hard time seeing the tangible benefits, because in all reality, they might not look the same for every member. Yes, we provide networking opportunities to every member. Yes, you can benefit from our social media or eblast support. But what if your business doesn’t need to use a bulk mailing stamp? Or you aren’t a business that can take Chamber Bucks which translates to actual cash in our community? This is why it is so important that we are having these conversations. How can the Chamber support your needs and meet you where you are at?
With that, I challenge you to reach out to our office to have these conversations about what we offer every single member, but also what we can do to help your personal business. I only know what I know, and these conversations are invaluable to me. You can reach me at molly@mccookchamber.org or by phone at (308) 345-3200. And if you happen to be around, stop by to see me at the Keystone Business Center at 402 Norris Ave. Ste 316.
We are here for you and are ready to strengthen our partnerships!
