CURTIS, Neb. — Sophomore Remmi Stout unleashed eight of her 14 points in the final quarter to lead Medicine Valley’s 47-43 win over Wauneta-Palisade Thursday night.

Junior Stella Heapy tallied 10 before halftime, then three late free throws as the Raiders (7-9) finished their sweet home victory.

The Raiders outscored W-P, 15-8, during those last eight minutes. They trailed 18-12 through their first quarter.

Kylie Rose added eight points with six each from senior Milla Farr and teammate Khloe Elsten.

Few players started faster than junior Peyton Cox, who scored 14 first-quarter points for her Broncos (10-8).

Cox totaled 17 in this contest and junior GraCee Goings put in 13.

Senior Cali Cox and Chloe Stenho each scored four.

The Raiders can make it wo straight tonight at 1-13 Bertrand.
