Norris Alley dedication, Sehnert Challenge celebration set Oct. 6
McCOOK, Neb. — Flagship Romance will return for another McCook performance with local opener Jon Reiners next Thursday night, Oct. 6, at Norris Alley as part of the Heritage Days celebration, sponsored by the McCook Community Foundation Fund.
The MCFF is inviting everyone to come enjoy the evening of “food, music and community.”
The free concert, from 6 to 9 p.m. will include dedication of the Norris Alley by the Norris Institute, as well as a celebration of generous donations to the Sehnert Challenge for a cultural arts endowment in honor of Walt and Jean Sehnert.
The McCook Rotary will serve food 6-7:30 p.m., with a free-will donation to go to the McCook Mural Project.
The McCook Chamber of Commerce will provide a cash bar beer garden.
Flagship Romance, who has performed at the Bieroc Cafe, is the husband and wife team of Shawn Fisher and Jordyn Jackson based in Truth or Consequences N.M.
