Mini-Speedway zooms through cool week, more Saturday
McCOOK, Neb. — Cooler weather helped lead to another successful Saturday of Go-Kart racing at McCook Mini Speedway.
“What a day!! We lucked out with some cooler weather, but it wouldn’t be race day if we didn’t have the wind,” a Speedway spoksperson stated on the official Facebook page. “Thank you everyone that came out and supported our track today! We appreciate it more than ever!”
Champions stepped up to win seven different divisions during the buy race day.
The McCook Mini-Speedway will deliver more action during this holiday weeekend.
A special Stars & Stripes racing schedule is set for Saturday with fireworks to follow.
Gates open at 3 p.m. for the track located to corners of West 10th Street and West Q Street in McCook. Hot laps are set to begin at 5 p.m.
