Pinnacle Bank sweep of Hastings tops diamond weekend

HASTINGS, Neb. — McCook's Pinnacle Bank Legion B baseball team swept blasted Hastings Thunder, 9-2 and 10-4, for a doubleheader sweep on Sunday.

Coach Konor Rakes also saw his team trounce Minden 11-1 at the McCook Jaycees Complex Friday evening to start this 3-0 weekend.

In other Legion B baseball, Hermann Jones Funeral Home beat Nebraska Braves 7-5 which secured sixth place at the Lincoln Tournament.

Herrmann Jones earlier dropped a 10-3 decision to the Nebraska Stars.
