Sports officials speakers at First Tuesday event

McCOOK, Neb. — Across Southwest Nebraska many fans and athletes have attended state-level competitions. However, there is another side to those coveted season culminations.

The Buffalo Commons Storytelling and Music Festival planning committee will feature stories from those selected as officials at state tournaments at a First Tuesday event April 5 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Biéroc Café.

Scheduled speakers include Chad Lyons, Jake Curl and Cindy and Greg Hayes. They will present tales from track, basketball and wrestling events. Anyone with similar experiences is encouraged to attend and share. As always, listeners are welcome as well.
