Voters should call clerk to confirm polling place

Tuesday, March 29, 2022

McCOOK, Neb. — With changes resulting from the census, Red Willow County voters should call the county clerk to confirm where they should cast their ballots, county officials said Monday.

Rural residents who have concerns about road maintenance, for example, can still contact the same commissioner they have called in the past, but they may find themselves voting at a different polling place.

Nonpartisan voters must request a partisan ballot for partisan congressional races, such as Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Legal Marijuana NOW ballots.

To vote in Red Willow County commissioner or sheriff races, however, you must be a registered Republican.

County Clerk Tami Teel’s number is 308-345-1552 for information concerning the upcoming election as well as voting places.
