More sentencings, pleas in Furnas County sex trafficking investigation
BEAVER CITY, Neb. — Two men were sentenced to prison and two more pleaded no contest in Furnas County District Court and will be sentenced in May.
Sentenced to three- to five-years on each count of first-degree sexual assault of a child and attempted sex trafficking of a minor was Dylan Brooks, 26, of Omaha. His sentences will be served concurrently.
Richard Walls, 42, Omaha, received a sentence of two years in prison with credit for 189 days and 18 months probation on one count of intentional child abuse with no injuries, and five years probation on an additional count of the same charge.
Pleading no contest to charges related to the ongoing Furnas County sex trafficking investigation were Rowdy Baxter, 64, under a plea agreement and Jacob Putman, 32, also under a plea deal.
Both will be sentenced May 25 in Furnas County District court.
