OZAD, Neb. — McCook’s seventh-graders caught fire following a 14-13 first half and beat Cozad, 42-31, Monday afternoon.
Tripp Raile’s 14 points powered the Bison to their fourth win in six games this season.
Ty Junker put in eight points, Ian Spearman four, Grady Lentz three and Kooper Rakes another three past the Haymakers.
Wyatt Benes, Grady Miller and Kale Sattler tallied two points each.
The winning continued with McCook’s B team delivering a tight 26-24 victory. Jacob Barber and TJ Puckett each scored eight points.
Bo Schlegel netted six points with two each from Wyatt Benes and Sattler.
Barber’s eight and Schlegel’s seven points led a 27-2 Bison ‘C’ win.
