McCook 'Y' sets sights on spring volleyball league

McCOOK, Neb. — The Ed Thomas YMCA of McCook is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2022 Spring Adult Volleyball League.

Divisions for Competitive and Recreational in both Women’s and Co-Ed. Season begins the week of March 7th. Co-Ed will be played on Monday evenings, Women’s on Thursday evenings.

The season will be six weeks long. Roster limit of 10 per team.

The deadline to register is Friday, February 25. The season begins the week of March 7. Game times will be determined based on number of teams after the deadline.

The game schedule will be posted on February 28th. Games will be played at the YMCA of McCook gymnasium. Championship t-shirts will be awarded to the winning team.

“We are happy to add a second season of Volleyball to our lineup of Adult Sports in 2022,” said CEO, Mitch Gross. “The addition of the recreational divisions this past fall proved to be successful as we were able to reach a broader audience. We look forward to hopefully seeing our participation numbers increase this spring.”

Early enrollment is encouraged as late entries will not be accepted.
