Younger Bison earn many Holdrege high places
HOLDREGE, Neb. — McCook Junior High wrestlers captured five titles at the Holdrege Quad on Thursday.
Kalen McCorkle scored two pins in less than 55 seconds each to win the weight division of 134-145 poiunds.
Gunner Kaps outscored three opponents, 32-1, while winning three major decisions for the 97-105 title.
Tristan Campbell also finished a pin and 14-4 major decision for the 129-140 championship.
Simon Garcia scored a 34-second pin along with 4-1 for first place at 166-170.
Eidos Klein received two byes and was proclaimed the 230-pound champion.
