Warriors go 3-0 in duals, Roughrider lands three pins

CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — Southwest’s Carter VanPelt pinned all three of his foes while Arapahoe finished 3-0 at the Cambridge Wrestling Quad on Thursday.

RPAC rival Loomis-Bertrand joined these teams along with Cambridge in a season opener for all involved.

Southwest entered only six werstlers but still won one dual and fell just 35-30 to those host Trojans.

Arapahoe ruled with many wrestlers earning wins. Bryan Conn and Levi Kerner both pinned two of their foes.

Van Pelt’s 12-second pin against Loomis-Bertrand was the fastest during this event.

Roughrider teammate Mitchel Stritt wrestled just once where he dominated throughout a 21-7 major decision.

None of the four teams entered a full lineup. Watch for results all season.
