Soph's 27 kills power Eagles through Loup

ARNOLD, Neb. — Sophomore Ann Bose sizzled 27 kills to lead Southern Valley’s thrilling five-set win over South Loup Tuesday evening.
The Eagles (13-11 record) got another 10 kills from senior Krista Best as they warm up for next week’s RPAC tournament.
They dropped a 25-20 opener to 15-10 South Loup but rebounded for 25-14 and 26-24 victories.
South Loup forced a fifth set, 25-18, which featured these two etams matching point for point.
Southern Valley finally prevailed, 15-13.
Bose added seven blocks with five being aces and also hustled for 28 digs.
Senior Aubrey Brown’s 34 digs led the floor defense with Best making another 27.
Freshman Brecklyn Hammond stepped in for 14 more defensive saves.
