Do you have abandonment issues?
Friday, June 18, 2021
I used to have such issues big time and I made some really bad decisions in order not to be left alone and I was with the wrong people. It sucked the life out of me and I just wanted to die. God got me out of that mess and I learned being alone with him was better. Now I do have some people in my life; but I know it’s not them that makes my life full and complete, it is him.
He promises in the Book of Revelation that in the New Jerusalem, the New Heavens & New Earth, that I’ll never be abandoned & never be alone & never have to leave & never be rejected ever again! That is my hope & his promise to me & you, that one day to go home where everybody is glad to have me/us and I’m glad to have them and we can all get along without sucking the life out of each other, without anybody being abandoned.
For now, God has created for me a family with a few people and a few animals that no one else wanted. We were all abandoned and we were all alone, but together we are healing & becoming whole & we all know the value of not being left alone. I love the family I have now and it’s a great comfort to me that God created this family just for each one of us so we would not have to be abandoned and alone, while we wait to go to our Eternal home. A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth; for the abandonment issues are no more.
Pray and ask God to take the wrong people out of your life and bring the right people in, the ones that will appreciate your presence, and you theirs. A God-created for you family that will never abandon you and you’ll always have a place to fit in and be valued and loved. Your little piece of heaven on Earth, created custom made, by him just for you!
“Not Choosing Jesus”
Your whole family may or may not choose to spend eternity with you & Jesus.
As you mature as a Christian you will come to the shocking realization that everyone in your family may not be saved! God honors each person’s free will right to choose to spend life here & in Eternity with him or not.
It is hard for us to accept that our family, friends & loved ones may choose not. You can pray, you can hope; but know that even Jesus’ whole family did not believe!
Scripture says that families may be divided; there may be two that will believe & three that won’t; or 3 that will believe & 2 that will not.
There is a scripture that says that you & your household will be saved; that is true “if” everybody in your household individually chooses to spend life now and in Eternity with Jesus. But often times everyone’s true heart is not with him. They may go through the motions; go to church, speak a good Bible etc. but if their heart is not with him on earth, they won’t be with him in eternity either.
Being able to love them anyway & enjoy the time you have with them now knowing that this may be all that you ever have with them & being okay with it, is maturing. Because it’s their choice to make, not yours, where they spend eternity.
This is the hard part about becoming a mature Christian; but it is gaining the mind of Christ, it’s how he thinks & how he feels & you’ll be okay with it too, once you reach this level of maturity.
We don’t like it, he doesn’t like it, we know it’s not the best choice for them, but we respect their right to make such a choice because “love does not force anyone to spend time with it”
