Christ in You

Christ in you..do you know what that means? Your body is His home on earth. Holy Spirit dwells inside every Born Again Believer. He is a Guest in your Home. Not your House. Inside you! What kind of dwelling does He have sharing your body with you as His home on earth?

Remember: He is also preparing you a home in His Father’s house.

So are you allowing your body, His home here with you, to become hoarded with obesity, self induced hatred mentally, mind-altering drugs so the brain will not obey Jesus, nasty activity, germs, foul language, pornography, addictions, gossiping about others & bragging about your own sins, etc.?

It is like you have permanent company, a roommate, the best ever. Yet you leave garbage laying around, you eat more than your share, or you starve Him to death with anorexia and tell Jesus He is fat and ugly...it is His body, too! Do you get drunk so you cannot have an intelligent conversation with Him or hear Him speak to you? You haven’t taken a bath in a week....

Wake up people, it is not just about you anymore, clean up your body, give it proper nutrition, sleep, exercise, clean it up...your body is a home you share with Jesus!

What if He prepared a dump for you in His Father’s house? Pretty sad, so don’t do it to Him, He wants better for you, wants better for Him. Do for Him, what you want Him to do for you....clean up your body, give your guest, Jesus, a nice place to dwell until He has prepared His place in the Heavenlies for both of you.

Don’t worry, I am preaching to all of us, myself included. We all could take some healthy steps to give Christ in us a nicer, healthier, well-kept dwelling. We invited company in so we would never have to be alone. We need to remember we have a guest.
