Chamber seeks nominations for annual honors

McCOOK, Neb. -- The McCook Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for a number of honors.

Among them is the Educator of the Year Award, made possible by the Strunk family who founded the McCook Gazette. Educators in Dundy, Chase, Hitchcock, Hayes, Red Willow, Frontier and Furnas counties in Nebraska and Decatur, Cheyenne and Rawlins counties in Kansas are eligible.

Nominations must be submitted to EoYaward.mccook.org by 5 p.m. Feb. 26.

The chamber is also seeking nominations for the Community Service Award, Community Builder Award and Chamber Volunteer of the Year.

Chamber Volunteer of the Year: A member who has displayed an above-average level of participation in the Chamber and other activities in the community.
