Curtis man killed Thursday

INDIANOLA, Neb. -- A Curtis man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday evening.

Cork Tyan, 57, Curtis, died en route to Community Hospital.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, Tyan was the lone occupant of the pickup truck, which went out of control on a curve about a mile north of Indianola on Fourth Street.

The vehicle rolled and the driver was ejected. A passerby called 911 at about 8:15 p.m.
