The White Stone

What is the significance of ‘The White Stone’ in the Book of Rev where it says, “Jesus will give each overcomer a white stone?”

Greek court systems used to have the jury members each vote by casting a white stone for innocent or a black stone for quilty. The larger number of black or white stones cast determined the verdict.

On Judgment Day Jesus will be “the Judge, the Jury, your Lawyer & your Key Witness” in your case! His vote is the only vote. He promised to cast a white stone of “not guilty” for sins to all those who overcome & all memories of those charges dismissed (forgotten).

Your Personal Judgment Day was the day you gave your life to the Lord. He has already cast a white stone in your favor. You can carry a white stone in your pocket & when the devil or others start harassing you, throwing black stones of your past sins at you, take out your white stone from Jesus & declare, “Jesus already voted! All charges are dismissed/forgotten!” You can even write your new name on your white stone, it is “Not Guilty!”

That’s right, me (you) a quilty person is washed clean, white as snow, & declared not quilty! by belief in the blood of the lamb was shed for me/you! Jesus already took the rap! He placed our record & charges upon Himself 2,000+ years ago & already took the death penalty. Altho He was innocent & we were quilty; He satisfied the court & the charges upon Him were not dropped. The charges were executed. He took the death penalty.

This also explains the scripture “If God is for you, who can be against you?” because; in the court God already voted! No one can defy the Judge’s decision. If the Highest Judge in the Highest Court in the Universe is for you, no one can stand against the Judge’s decision. He has already declared you/me an overcomer, not guilty, charges dropped, case dismissed, record expunged! Expunged means to erase, remove completely. There is No Case; No Record of wrongs against you/me. You/I are free to go!

In the courts of the land today, some charges are dropped. Some cases are expunged, usually to give younger people a new chance to go right, or when a grave injustice was committed by having charged & sentenced a totally innocent person. One can get early parole for good behavior or time already served. Society, the people, are not always so forgiving.

In Heaven it is already declared, expunged & forgotten. This world is not always so forgiving, society does not always agree with the courts. This world & its judgments whether kind or unkind is temporary. By accepting Jesus already took your/my penalty, we have taken it to the highest court, the most influential judge. The Highest Court, the One & Only Supreme Judge, who declares our Eternal Sentence.

Feel free to carry that white stone declaring your Eternal Freedom in your pocket with your name on it, “Not Guilty!”

Satan does not have a white stone, the judgment against him is a black stone, his charges remain. The vote was cast. His sentence is the pending Lake of Fire.
