Cattle Trail sets contests for annual tourney
McCOOK, Neb. — Holiday events might looks shaky but the annual Cattle Trail basketball tournament will rumble full speed starting on Dec. 8.
Full brackets with first-round matchups were released today.
Games will be played at both McCook High and McCook Community College through the title games on Saturday, Dec. 12.
The tourney features eight Gazette-area teams in this annual event.
Tuesday, Dec. 8
GIRLS
3:30 p.m. — Southwest vs. Decatur Community (Kan.) at MCC; Wauneta-Palisade vs. Medicine Valley at MHS.
6:30 p.m. — Maywood-Hayes Center vs. Arapahoe at MCC; Dundy County-Stratton vs. Hitchcock County at MHS.
BOYS
5 p.m. — Medicine Valley vs. Maywood-Hayes Center at MCC; Arapahoe vs. Wauneta-Palisade at MHS.
8 p.m. — Dundy County-Stratton vs. Southwest at MCC; Hitchcock County vs. Decatur Community (Kan.).
