HASTINGS, Neb. — Lorraine Marie Girch, 92, of Hastings, formerly of Arapahoe, Neb., died Thursday (Nov. 19, 2020), at her home in Hastings.

She was born June 28, 1928, in Oxford, Neb., to Albert and Sophia (Obering) Lueking. On May 31, 1953, she married Roy (John) Girch in Oxford. She worked at Arapahoe Public Schools and Wagner’s Supermarket.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; infant brother, Alvin; sister, Dorothy; and infant granddaughter, Jenna.

Survivors include children, Roger (Karen) Girch of Beatrice, Neb., and Linda (Tom) Klein of Hastings; sister, Darlene Miller of Hastings; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private family viewing only. Graveside services were Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, 1 p.m., at the Arapahoe Cemetery of Arapahoe, Neb., with Rev. Becky Saddler officiating.
