College board to select architects Wednesday

McCOOK, Neb. — Mid-Plains Community College governors will make a recommendation for an architect Wednesday for the McCook Community College East Campus.

Besides the MCC East Campus — the old Elks Club — governors will recommend an architect for the North Platte Community College Health & Science Center.

Meeting in the MCC Student Union at 6:30 p.m., the governors will consider purchasing land adjacent to the Imperial Community Campus for $300,000, he second year of the Jenzabar information system annual maintenance contract for $289,622, annual NCCA membership dues for $62,830, and the use of Perkins Grant funds to purchase 10 zSpace augmented or virtual reality laptop units for $60,998.
