McCOOK, Neb. — A rundown of some Gazette area top football performance during week three Nebraska games and Kansas completing week two.

— Dundy County-Stratton built a 62-0 halftime lead at Perkins County behind junior Quade Myers' 224 yards on just nine carries (24.9 average) and three touchdowns.
Senior Serbando Diaz added 171 rush yards with four more TDs in the 68-12 victory for Class D-1 No. 3 DC-S.
— Unbeaten Hitchcock County (3-0) crushed Alma, 58-6, and has scored 202 points to average 67.3 per contest. The Falcons invade Benkelman and will meet 2-0 Dundy County-Stratton Friday evening.
— Senior Brody Yant caught nine passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns in Southern Valley's 36-26 victory at Cambridge as the RPAC rivals collided Friday afternoon.
Quarterbacks Carter Bose and Clayton Berry both threw two TD strikes to Yant while combining to complete 21 of 29 covering 357 yards. The Eagles are 2-1 in their first season of eight-man football.
Cambridge quarterback Quentin Shaner finished 10 for 13 passing and added a Trojan-high 78 rushing yards. Derek Trompke added a 78-yard kickoff return score but Cambridge slipped to 1-2.
— The Arapahoe Warriors are now 2-1 following a 50-12 beating of Blue Hill Friday evening.
Keegan Benson gained 211 yards on 32 carries to lead a powerhouse ground attack where Wyatt Jenkins reached 105 yards (12 rushes, 8.7 average) and Tristian White (18 for 74) scored three TDs.
Jenkins (two) and Benson (one) combined for three more scores. The Warriors will host Cambridge on Friday.
— Decatur Community, Kan., delivered a huge 58-8 win over Wallace County as seniors Gavon Uehlin and Alex Eskew totaled 262 rush yards with four touchdowns at Oberlin, Kan.
Uehlin's 147 yards with three TDs led the 1-1 Red Devils. Eskew carried 17 times for 115 yards and another score.
The Red Devils outscored Wallace, 48-0, following a tight 10-8 first period.
— Michael Duvel threw two touchdown passes to Braxton McKinney which highlighted Wauneta-Palisade's 35-13 loss at South Platte.
Duvel hit five-of-six passes while McKinney completed another 11 but South Platte did intercept two throws.
The Broncos (0-3 record) were only outgunned, 278-214, yet suffered five turnovers and nine penalties.
Other area games on Friday saw Maywood-Hayes Center fall 47-0 at Mullen, Chase County drop a 26-18 contest to visiting Ogallala and Rawlins County, Kan., go down 58-8 against powerhouse St. Francis, Kan.
