Home sweet home! FCB Juniors conquer Kearney

Pitcher Alex Anthony hustled to toss this throw to first base and retire another batter during McCook First Central Bank's 4-2 win over Kearney Five Points in their Juniors Legion doubleheader on Friday. Anthony pitched a seven-inning complete game while also tripling home the tie-breaking run to put FCB ahead 2-1. Below, shortstop Adam Dugger (5) makes a leaping catch. The Juniors were playing game two with results to appear in our next McCook Gazette. They also host a doubleheader with Elwood-Eustis at 5 p.m. on Monday at the Jaycees Complex.
