Sharon Mae Boley

CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — Sharon Mae Boley was born in Wichita, Kan., to Howard Vincent and Evelyn Norene (Pierce) Plummer on May 10, 1950. She attended school in Wichita and graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1968. Sharon worked as a certified nursing assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Wesley Medical Center in Wichita; she took great pride in helping people at the different facilities at which she worked.

Sharon moved to Cambridge in 2009. She filled her time reading romance novels and watching her favorite shows, Deadliest Catch and Chicago PD being among her most watched. Sharon loved spending time with her family. She was happiest when surrounded by animals, especially cats. Her cat Squeaks held a special place in her heart. She spent countless hours making cat toys for her cats and she loved making them for others as well. Sharon loved helping, caring and doing for others. It was truly her calling.

Sharon passed away on June 13, 2020, at her home in Cambridge. She was 70 years of age.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Katina Noel Boley.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Boley and wife, Phyllis of Cambridge; grandchildren, Chloe Rae Cochrane and husband, Mike of Aurora, Colo., Eric Robert Boley of Aurora, Connor Alexander Boley and Julianna Ritesman of Grant, Neb., Kimber Linn Boley and Clint Redden of Broken Bow, Neb., Ravin Denise Boley of Cambridge and Austin Sumner of Cambridge; great-grandsons, Cillian Cochrane, Chase Redden and Damien Redden.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Times and locations will be posted when available.

No viewing or visitation; cremation was chosen.
