Robert Wren “Bobcat” Trosper

July 25, 1968 - June 7, 2020

CAMBRIDGE, Neb. — Robert Wren Trosper, age 51 years old, was born to Donna Doreen Mills and Wren Leo Trosper at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on July 25, 1968. Bob graduated in 1987 with 17 classmates at Cambridge High School.

He worked at the Husky Filling Station until 1991; from Feb. 18, 1991 through 2004, Bob worked as a mechanic for Bernie Jones GMC. On March 4, 2004, Bob bought out Clint and Ruth Bridges business and it gave him a lot of pride to think he could print a t-shirt and make vinyl truck signs for many businesses. He then he moved his shop from McCook to Arapahoe in 2007. He bought an embroidery machine and added a laser engraver, which brought him more business to snowbirds. In 2018, Bob moved his shop once again to Cambridge to a house. He always said his talent was God’s gift. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Arapahoe.

His had a love for farm animals and loved to tease them and then he would sit and laugh. He never wanted to live anywhere but on the farm. Bob belonged to the Holbrook Lions Club as secretary and put the sale bills together. He always looked forward to doing things for the club.

Those who preceded him in death were his mother, Donna, who died in 2001; three aunts, Geneva Fuller, Mildred Farr and Roberta Menges; and two uncles, Gary and Fred Trosper.

He leaves to mourn his father, Wren and stepmother, Luella Trosper of Arapahoe; two sisters, Kathy and Doreen Trosper, both of Cambridge; stepsister, Vicki (Steve) Daigle of Glendale, Ariz.; and one stepbrother, Richard (Valerie) Bond of Cambridge.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 12, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Arapahoe with Pastor Becky Saddler officiating, with inurnment at 1:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge
