Hospital board reorganizes

McCOOK, Neb. -- Julie Gillespie was elected to chair the Community Hospital board of directors recently, with Curt Swanhorst vice chair, Lena Koebel secretary and Kristin Stegemeyer treasurer.

Other board members are Rick Haney and Dave Powell, who were elected in November, was well as Warren Jones, Jana Kmoch and Garrett Rippen. Retiring from the board is Todd Thieszen, board chair, and Robert Hinze.

In other action, Warren Jones and Rick Haney were appointed to represent the Community Hospital board on the Community Hospital Health Foundation board.

The hospital Christmas party will be leap day, Feb. 29, at the McCook Memorial Auditorium, and the next regular meeting will be 6:45 a.m. Jan. 15.
