BIRD CITY, Kan. — Darlene Joyce Burr, 86, diedFriday (Dec. 13, 2019), at Fort Morgan, Colo.

She was born Feb. 16, 1933, in Guide Rock, Neb. She was a homemaker.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Wiliam Burr; and son, Richard Burr.

Survivors include daughter, Belinda (Mike) Boyson of Bird City; sister, Betty Lucas of Wray, Colo.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, Dec 19, 2019, 1-6 p.m., at Knodel Funeral Home.

Services are Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, 2 p.m., at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City. Burial is at the Bird City Cemetery.

Memorials can be given in her name to the Bird City Senior Center or the Cheyenne County EMTs.

Knodel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
